PAISIOS x SALTY BSTRDS
The Bastard Alliance
Christos cracked.
Not by accident but from stillness, from routine, from the weight of doing nothing.
That crack didn’t break him. It opened him.
Through it poured earth, salt, fire.
And from it, he shaped vessels. Not perfect, but purposeful.
Every ceramic he makes is a rebellion against the smooth and the safe — raw forms stitched with meaning, textured with nature’s wild fingerprints.
To seal the cracks, he didn’t hide them. He filled them with art.
And because art attracts the raw, he found Paisios — a silversmith who forges defiance into metal. Together, they crafted objects that aren’t just made. They’re felt.
This is not a collaboration.
This is a bastard alliance — between two artists who don’t create by the rules.
They create because they can’t do otherwise.
Tidecarved
Forged by tide and touch, this bowl carries the memory of salt and flame.
Each edge is jagged like a coastline — shaped not by symmetry, but by surrender.
Made to hold sand and candles, it becomes a ritual piece:
a vessel for light, loss, remembrance.
Its body, rough as the ocean’s mood, is held together with silver —
not to hide the damage, but to honor it.
- High-temperature clay and 925 sterling silver.
Selected for their strength, contrast, and timeless raw beauty.
Crafted in ritual, kept in salt. Only one of each exists.
