The Island of Tortuga was an island located in the Caribbean.Of all the pirate islands in the Caribbean, none was the equal of Tortuga. Dangerous, boisterous, drunken, and bawdy, Tortuga was pirate heaven.
Around the Golden Age of Piracy, Tortuga became a major center of piracy in the 17th century.
This piece is made of oxidized sterling silver.
Every PAISIOS item is entirely handcrafted, which means that two pieces of the same design will never be exactly the same. These small differences, along with the mix of traditional and experimental techniques we use, give each creation its own character and make it truly unique.
